Lost In You
Lyrics
I can see myself getting lost in you
No kind of alarm was my avenue
Oh, Could you see yourself born again with me?
Take a chance, honey
Level with me
Don't you want to be free?
I could see myself getting lost in you
Takes less and less for me to fall, fall right thru
Oh, and I can be so damn naive
To think that I'm the only one in your bed
Well maybe that's just what I need
Lost in you
Lost in you
Lost in you
Lost in you
I am already so lost in you
You set the clock that ticks me true
Oh, I can feel my hand on the pulse of the universe
I wanna take a chance, honey
I want to be free
Here I recognize
Who you are in my world
Here I recognize
Who you are in my world
I can see myself so lost in you, lost in you
Shattering the myth
Living in the true now
Oh, in real harmony
The only song in our heads
Don't you know it's just what we needed?
I could see myself getting lost in you
I can see myself getting lost in you

I wrote a song in 2022 titled “She Knows” mentioning Jim James in the lyrics, an artist whose solo project resonated with me greatly.
I was completely floored in 2025 when I found out my song had reached him!
He was very kind and supportive of my music, and we decided to write a song together. We worked on “Lost In You” together throughout the year, bouncing between Email and ProTools sessions.
"Lost In You" is musically inspired by Foreigner, Prince, and Cyndi Lauper. It’s full of custom soundscapes performed on Roland’s Juno-60, Fantom X7, and Fantom 07. Melodic synth lines intertwine with Jim’s guitars. Our voices ended up complementing each other nicely, at times I feel forming one unique presence! "Lost In You" is about self-awareness, beauty in others, and taking a chance.
The way the music came together felt very special, and I'm grateful not only to have made a wonderful song together but also to have made a friend. Grazie, Jim!! :)
